Electronic communications and e-sign consent

Entry runs on electronic records. This page sets out what you are consenting to, and how to get a paper copy or opt out.

Version 1.0 · effective 5 August 2026 · version history

Consent to electronic records

By creating an account or placing an order, you consent to receive contracts, quotes, invoices, receipts, disclosures, notices, checklists, case updates and any other record electronically, through your Entry portal and to the email address and mobile number you give us. Electronic delivery satisfies any requirement that a record be provided in writing.

Consent to electronic signatures

Where a signature or confirmation is required, you consent to signing electronically: by ticking a box, clicking a confirmation control, typing your name, or drawing a signature. An electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten one. Some authorities require a wet-ink or personally signed form; where that is the case we will tell you and provide the printable document.

What we record

For every consent and signature, Entry records the exact wording shown on screen, the version of the document it belonged to, the date and time, the method used, and the network address the confirmation came from. You can request a copy of your consent record at any time.

What you need

  • A current web browser and internet access.
  • A working email address you check, and the ability to receive email from entry.com without filtering.
  • The ability to open PDF files and to save or print records for your own copy.
  • Enough storage to keep the records you want, or a printer.

Tell us straight away if your email address changes. Notices sent to the address on file are treated as delivered.

Paper copies and withdrawal

You may request a paper copy of any record, or withdraw your consent to electronic records, by writing to concierge@entry.com. A reasonable postage and handling charge may apply to paper copies, and we will tell you the amount before charging it. Withdrawal takes effect once processed and does not affect the validity of records already delivered or signatures already given. Because the service is delivered online, withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide it, in which case cancellation is handled under the fees, payments, refunds and cancellation policy.

Service and marketing messages

Service messages about your case, payments and deadlines are part of the service and are not marketing; you cannot opt out of them while a matter is open. Marketing messages are sent only with your separate opt-in and every one of them carries an unsubscribe link. Message and data rates may apply to SMS.
