What Entry is

Entry is a private, technology-enabled service company. Entry performs intake, eligibility screening, document assistance, form preparation support, case coordination, scheduling, translation and courier management, and the sourcing of independent professionals. Entry charges you for those services.

Entry is not a government agency and has no affiliation with any embassy, consulate, ministry or immigration authority. Unless the specific contracting Entry entity is separately authorised and says so in writing on your engagement, Entry is not a law firm, does not employ your lawyer, and does not provide legal advice or regulated immigration advice.

When an independent professional is needed

Many matters can be handled as document assistance and coordination. Some cannot. Where your matter requires legal advice, a legal opinion, regulated immigration advice, or representation before an authority or tribunal, that work is performed by an independent attorney, law firm or regulated immigration professional licensed in the relevant jurisdiction. Entry identifies that professional to you before their work begins.

Your relationship with the professional

  • The professional is independent. They are not Entry's employee and Entry does not direct or supervise their professional judgement.
  • No professional-client relationship exists until the professional accepts the engagement and you accept their own engagement terms.
  • The professional is responsible for their own advice and is accountable to their own regulator, bar or licensing body.
  • Communications with Entry are not privileged. Privilege, where it exists at all, applies only to communications with the professional under their own engagement.
  • You may ask for a different professional, and Entry may substitute an equivalently qualified professional where availability, jurisdiction or conflict-of-interest rules require it. You are told when that happens.

How professionals are selected

Entry maintains a panel of professionals and providers assessed for licensing status, jurisdictional competence, capacity and service record. Selection is based on the requirements of your matter. Entry does not accept payment from a professional in exchange for being selected for your case.

How professional fees are handled

Where Entry engages a professional on your behalf, the professional's fee is shown as its own line on your quote and invoice, separately from Entry's service fee. Entry collects that amount as a payment facilitation and remits it to the professional. Entry does not share in a professional's fee as compensation for the referral itself.

Where the professional must contract with you directly, Entry will say so and you will pay them directly under their own terms. Their fee estimate may change once they have reviewed your file; you will be told before any additional amount is incurred.

Other providers

Entry also engages non-professional providers: couriers, translators, notaries, document-retrieval agents, medical-examination centres, biometric appointment services and payment processors. Their charges are shown as third-party costs on your quote, at cost where the amount is known and estimated where it is not.

Complaints

Complaints about Entry's own service go to concierge@entry.com. Complaints about the professional advice you received should be raised with the professional and, if unresolved, with their regulator. Entry will provide the professional's licensing details and regulator on request.
