How a price is built

Entry charges for the services Entry performs. Amounts payable to a government authority, an independent professional or another third party are separate, and are shown on their own line of your quote and invoice. Nothing is bundled into a single undifferentiated number.

Estimates and when a quote can change

A quote given before assessment is an estimate. It becomes a confirmed price when we tell you it is confirmed. A confirmed price can still change, but only for a reason on this list, and only after we have told you the new amount and you have approved it:

  • Information given at intake was incomplete or inaccurate
  • New facts come to light, including prior refusals, overstays or criminal history
  • The service category changes after assessment
  • Applicants are added to the order
  • Government fees change
  • The authority requests additional evidence
  • An engaged professional determines that additional work is necessary
  • Translation, courier or other third-party costs change
  • You request expedited or additional services

You are never charged more without approving the change first. If you decline, the matter is cancelled and settled under the cancellation rules below.

Statutory cancellation rights

Where consumer law gives you a cancellation or cooling-off right, that right applies and is not reduced by this policy. If you ask us to begin work inside a cooling-off period, you may be charged for the work performed up to the point you cancel.

Before work starts

If you cancel before we have begun preparing your case, we refund the Entry professional fee in full. In practice that means any time before a specialist has been assigned and your case has moved out of the intake stage, and no later than 14 days after payment.

The $149 deposit

The deposit opens your case and pays for the assessment, route strategy and document plan. It is credited in full against your final balance. It is refundable if you cancel before your assessment is delivered, and it is not refundable once that work has been completed and shared with you.

After work starts

Once preparation is under way, refunds are prorated against the work already completed: assessment, document review, form preparation, submission and post-submission support. We will show you the breakdown before issuing the refund.

Costs we have already committed on your behalf

Because we run the matter for you, part of your fee is spent engaging other people: licensed advisers, in-country agents, translators, notaries and couriers. Once we have instructed a professional or provider on your case, that commitment is non-recoverable and is deducted from any refund. We will always show you what was committed and when.

Government fees

Government fees, biometric fees, courier charges and third-party costs are paid to the relevant authority or provider and are not refundable by Entry once submitted, even if the application is refused or withdrawn. Any government fee we have collected but not yet paid out is refunded in full.

Refused or delayed applications

A refusal is not by itself grounds for a refund, because the decision rests with the authority and our work has already been performed. If a refusal was caused by an error on our side, we will redo the filing at no professional cost or refund the fee, whichever you prefer.

Expedited services

Expedite fees cover priority handling on our side and, where applicable, an official fast-track government fee. The Entry expedite fee is refunded if we fail to meet the handling window we committed to. Official fast-track fees follow the authority's own rules.

How to request a refund

  • Email concierge@entry.com from the address on your account, with your case reference.
  • Tell us what you would like refunded and why. We acknowledge within one business day.
  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a chargeback. Most disputes are a misunderstanding about scope or government fees and we resolve them quickly. Where a chargeback is filed on work that was delivered, we will present the case record, timestamps and correspondence to the card issuer.
